Hey guys,
Well once again its nearly Christmas I cant believe how fast this year has gone. All in all its been another quiet month and health wise I am still in great shape.
I’m sat here now after just landing a day off work because of the snow thanking my lucky stars that I am off for 4 days now fabulous!!
As you will know I am not a huge fan of going to the clinic and am beginning to dread my next visit which is in January I don’t really expect any different news from my tests but I still find the whole waiting game quite stressful.
As far as my love life is going I have totally given up looking. I spend far too much time chasing Mr right for my own good and figure one day the right guy will come along! Not to say that if any of you come across me on one of the many dating sites I am on you should feel free to say hi!
Bit of sad news is that I have decided to stop writing my blog for the What Next? site so this will be my last one aaahhh! No real reason. I just don’t really have that much to say as life is pretty quiet and I think its time to give someone else a go!
I have been doing this site for two years in April and have come a long way since the beginning and looking back I was really a total wreck not only because of my HIV diagnosis but other huge stresses.
I had three fires in my old flat, a murder next door (thank god I moved) all before I got diagnosed which just served to send me quietly round the twist!
Finally I have moved on rebuilt my life and career, then ditched some of those friends we all have who only really are a drain on you. I made new friends and generally come through the whole rotten situation a much stronger and more positive person.
Just goes to show living with HIV can be done. If I can do it after all that then anyone can. I still have those days when I want to run away and hide but doesn’t everybody?
So I am hoping for a quiet stress free 2010 which will begin with two weeks on the beach somewhere fabulous and hopefully a successful start with the respite service I will soon be opening.
So that’s me guys, thank you for letting me waffle on every month. The What Next? site is truly fabulous and long may it reign! (at least until they find a cure for us)
I just wish I had known about the THT and not been so uneducated about HIV when I was diagnosed!
